We are as different - as you are!!! It means that the key difference is our services are highly customised according to the your taste.
Think about it - Is Red Fort an example of great architechture? Most of us will say - yes it is. Now answer this - would you like to live in Red Fort ?
Again consider it - most of us will say - No. Therein lies are difference. There is no great architecture without the satisfied inhabitant or user.
We are not just "great architects". We are "great architects for you"
For that purpose we have our specifically desgined questionnaire to help us understand what do you exactly want.
3. How does the architecture of our living places affect us?
In many many different ways. Studies show that architecture of our living place impact everything- our moods, thinking, actions and ultimately our whole life.
In India there is ancient system of vaastu which studies this exact relationship of the inhabitants with their living space. Modern studies confirm it.
It is only logical that the lighting, temperature, spacing, visual and asthetics of the place we live in will show up in our behaviour and health.
4. Are your designs vaastu compliant?
Vaastu and modern designs are not necessarily divergent. Vaastu normally speaks about logical things to be incorporated in the design to ensure optimum sunlight, temperature, interaction etc.
Vaastu also speaks about the correction course in case certain design element can not be changed - example if there is well/borehole to the north of
your house but outside your owned space, what should be remedial action. Another example a home should normally face East, but if the location to the east of your home is already occupied by another building - what then? These are examples where Vaastu can suggest incorporating some design feature to address the lacuna.
Hence Vaastu goes beyong architechture. Any architecture claiming to make a design fully vaastu compliant is perhaps exceeding their limits.
But to the extent that Vaastu can be taken care of by way of design - our designs are fully vaastu compliant. We have our empanelled vaastu experts which we consult for each design.
5. Are you using the latest technology to design my home/office, etc?
We use the latest state of the art architechture and design softwares like Revit, ArchiCAD, 3DMax, Artlantis, Skecth up, Lumion and Rhino etc. to achieve the most efficient design for you.
We can also present to you, 3D/Video version of your prposed design in advance so that you know how it will appear when constructed.
6. Why should I hire architect - their designs are too technical for me.
You don’t have to worry about the technical details. We can show you the simulated, images and videos of your design for you to get a feel of it.
It also helps us make any last minute changes to the design based on your feedback from the simulated, rendered images
7. How much does it cost?
If you are worried about price - dont be. We pride ourseleves in providing tremendous value and high degree of satisfaction to our clients.
It depends on the project, but normally costs about 4.0-5.0% of the construction cost in case of a new building construction. -+++++
8. What are the govt regulations that I have to be aware of before starting construction of my new house/building?
Some of the most important regulations and laws around building construction are:
FAR (Floor Area Ratio) - This determines the maximum built up area that you can achieve in a given plot size
Height of the building
Maximum no of stories allowed
Maximum number of dwelling units (apartments) allowed in a building
Amenities needed - no of parking spaces
Permitted land use of the plot
Fire fighting requirements
9. Apart from regulations what are the other factors normally considered in the design?
Lighting and Air
Noise, dust and local hazards
Security and suveillance
Weather conditions of the place year round
